We collect large amounts of data every day. How do we use this data to create information that will improve our programs and outcomes for our clients? This participatory session explores the ways that agencies can harness the power of the data they are collecting and build a culture of learning and improvement in their organizations.

Our Presenter: Jennifer Walker, PhD
Jennifer Walker is an independent consultant currently working with NIOC on Knowledge Sharing and Engagement, particularly with respect to First Nations, Inuit and Métis populations. Formerly, Jennifer was with the Canadian Institute for Health Information doing health system research and contributing to the improvement of Aboriginal health information in Canada. Jennifer holds a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Calgary where her research focused on evaluation and quality measurement of health services for older adults.
